This little mat was made from recycled wool - both sweaters and shirting - that I felted to make a sturdy fabric. The pattern I used was from Create and Decorate I think - I just had the template around. Its all hand stitched using primitive cross stitch, blanket and running stitch with dmc floss.

Wooly Heart
This little heart is made of thrifted sweaters that I felted. I saw the wonderful tutorial at Prairie's Edge Primitives http://woolyredrug-prairiesedgeprimitives.blogspot.com/2009/02/valentine-freebie.html and instantly knew I needed to make it right now! I changed things a bit - I didn't stuff it nor put the cross stitches on it. It looks really cute dressing up the china hutch. This little project was very fun and quick for instant gratification.

Wool Cupcake Pincushion

Last night I made up this cupcake pincushion. Its a very fast little project. I've taken out Betz White's Warm Fuzzies from the library a couple of times and finally made something from it. It's a great book with loads of ideas and easy instructions. She has a great blog too ~ http://www.betzwhite.com/
