This is my current wip. I'm only using my scrap yarns and not making much of a dent! I have about 12 inches more to crochet. I am using attic24's pattern - a nice soft ripple. It's at http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/neat-ripple-pattern.html

Crocheted Ripple Afghan

Wool Cupcake Pincushion
Last night I made up this cupcake pincushion. Its a very fast little project. I've taken out Betz White's Warm Fuzzies from the library a couple of times and finally made something from it. It's a great book with loads of ideas and easy instructions. She has a great blog too ~ http://www.betzwhite.com/

My first hooked rug
I finished this rug a couple of weeks ago although I started it in April 2009. I took a class and I had told the teacher I wanted a "folk art cat" and this is what she drew up. I had hooked it all within 6 mos of the class and I just needed to do the binding and procrastination set it. The binding was actually much easier than I thought it would be. I think it came out pretty good for my first one - the hooking is a bit too tight. My next rug will be another cat - more primitive, drawn by me and the wool strips will be much wider. Here is my inspiration:
